 Fort Jackson, South Carolina Epsten Group managed the SPiRiT achievements of the design/build team for a battalion-size Basic Combat Trainee barracks complex for 1,200 soldiers with an approximate cost of $58 million. Epsten Group developed detailed sustainable design goals for the site and buildings while incorporating appropriate security measures. Included in the consulting services was the training of the entire team in the holistic delivery process. The headquarters, dining hall, and five barracks were designed and constructed to achieve a SPiRiT Silver rating; the supporting buildings-- a central energy plant and a lawn maintenance building-- pursued SPiRiT Bronze. |
