 Dahlonega, Georgia Epsten Group designed a complete remodeling of this post-and beam timber home, then in a state of disrepair. Porch and deck additions provide ample space to enjoy the mountainous surroundings while maintaining daylighting within the home. New interiors include a basement expansion with bedrooms and a new master bathroom. The gourmet kitchen features birds-eye maple and stainless steel cabinets and granite countertops that complement the warm interior. Playful modern banisters and a new staircase were fabricated by a local metal artist. |
