 Langley AFB, Norfolk, Virginia Epsten Group served as SPiRiT (Sustainable Project Rating Tool) Consultant for the design of a $50 million hospital addition, alteration and connecting corridor at Langley Air Force Base. Epsten Group prepared SPiRiT objectives, instructed the team on the specifics of SPiRiT, served as a resource for this rating system throughout the design phase, and led a working meeting to finalize SPiRiT issues partway through the design. Epsten Group compiled and edited SPiRiT reports for the project at three checkpoints during the design. The contract goal for the project was to achieve a SPiRiT Bronze rating, however through the assistance of The Epsten Group, the design team achieved a SPiRiT Silver rating. |
