Epsten Group was the LEED Consultant to Dixon/Carothers – A Joint Venture, Jackson, Mississippi, for a new Visitor Center at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The Visitor Center is programmed to achieve a Certified Rating using the green building rating system and will be the first LEED Certified building at Robins AFB. The project includes a gatehouse and watch station, covered inspection center, overlaying and improving existing roads, demolition, and relocating utilities in addition to the Visitor Center. The project is designed to meet new anti-terror requirements for base entrance facilities.
