Epsten Group was the building envelope commissioning agent for the Simons Center for the Arts Expansion. The project includes Studios, Galleries, Practice Rooms, Classrooms, Darkrooms, and Offices, with an estimated construction cost of the new building is $20 million. The scope of services include design review and a
commissioning plan/specifications, which include cast stone, masonry walls, concrete, waterproofing/roofing membrane, curtain wall, storefronts, windows, doors, and glazing. Epsten Group’s services also include the observation of the building envelope components, review submittals/shop drawings, and observation of standard water/air testings on installed components.
